Voted as Longview News Journal's 2008 Doctor of the Year, Dr. Larry L. Smith practiced dermatology in Longview, TX for over 30 years. He is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana attending LSU and graduating from LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport. After an internship in Internal Medicine, he completed his Residency in Dermatology at Tulane Medical Center New Orleans. Followed by his move to Longview in 1985, he began private practice in Dermatology. In November 2022 he moved his private practice to Gilmer, TX.
